Spearfish Women’s Monday MTB Group Ride

What to Expect

Hosted by Tessa Hansen, this women’s ride was started to bring more women together on mountain bikes in Spearfish. In the spirit of movement and staying active, it’s about building community, getting more comfortable on the bike, sessioning features, and picking up a few basics like maintenance along the way.

❋ First Monday of the month

Short ride (5–10 miles).
Lower mileage, easier pace, and a good entry point for anyone newer to riding or getting back into it.

❋ Second Monday of the month

Mid-distance ride (10–15 miles).
A step up in mileage with a steady pace. Focus is on building comfort and consistency on the bike.

❋ Third Monday of the month

Shuttle ride (location varies).
Different terrain and longer descents. Details on shuttle logistics and meeting point will be shared in the weekly email.

❋ Fourth Monday of the month

Skills + clinic ride.
Focused on practicing specific skills—cornering, climbing, descending, and sessioning features in a controlled setting.

We will send out an email every Friday with details about the upcoming ride on Monday.
