Meet Dr. Hansen
Dr. Zach Hansen, a native of Spearfish, South Dakota, has always had a passion for sports and staying active. Growing up, he played a variety of local sports throughout the year, developing a deep appreciation for movement and physical health. After high school, Dr. Hansen served in the U.S. Navy as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman, where he advanced to the rank of Chief Petty Officer, gaining invaluable experience in military medicine and patient care.
Before pursuing chiropractic, Dr. Hansen worked as a surgical first assistant, where he witnessed firsthand the consequences of allowing short-term injuries to become chronic. This experience inspired his transition into chiropractic care, where he could help patients avoid long-term pain and injury through holistic treatment methods.
Dr. Hansen earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Wyoming, followed by his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University-Kansas City. He is committed to continuous learning and has pursued additional specialized training in acupuncture, dry needling, Functional Movement Systems, and Active Release Technique.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Hansen enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and son. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast, frequently exploring the Black Hills on his mountain bike, skiing in the winter, and hunting in the fall with his upland bird dog.
